I am Babu Lal Naga. I am a resident of Jobner town of Jaipur district. My basic education was completed in Jobner itself. In 1999 I did class 12th from agriculture faculty. In 2003 I passed out my B.A and in 2005 M.A in Political Science. In 2006 I completed B.J.M.C in Journalism from Vardhman Open University Kota. From my school days I started looking for my career in the field of Journalistic writing. I also started freelance writing for news papers and magazines. In 1999 my first article was published in Rajasthan Patrika. Since then I am writing non stop.
I am working in Vividha for the last 10 years. At present I am working as a media coordinator. From 2006 to 2017 I have written approximately 250 articles out of these 200 have been published in different news papers of Rajasthan. Ujala Chhadi is another publication of Vividha, a monthly news paper for people with low level of literacy. I am helping in it’s editing and news writing. Earlier I have worked as a reporter and assistant editor in Vividha. I have also been the resource person in various trainings and capacity building programs of rural youth in the field of rural journalism. I have been actively involved in various Jan Andolans and other activities organised by various organisations. I have been writing press notes in many Dharnas, demonstrations, movements, public hearings and workshops.
My writing work has been duly acknowledged and I have received many awards and fellowships. Some of them are: Gram gadar, Gram Budget, Laadli media award, Sahitya Noor samman and Samparn samaj gaurav award. In the year 2013, I was selected for inclusive media fellowship award of the center for studies of developing societies (CSDS). In this fellowship I studied the condition of the Malnourished and Starvation in the Baran district of Rajasthan. In 2016 October I got CMC- Rajasthan University-UNICEF media fellowship (October-December 2016). I studied the status of child marriage in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan.
